When the sea and skies seemed about to doom the crew, the clouds would part and the waves would subside. In this orchestral and tonal setting, Iannaccone makes a concious effort to bridge the large ambience of the orchestral hall with a more intimate sound. Waiting for Sunrise was selected as one of five semi-finalists in the 2001 Masterprize competition, and is recorded on the Albany label (TROY 486). Duration: 25'.
