About this arrangement

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1211565 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by H. T. Burleigh and David Neff. Easter,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual,Traditional. Score. 4 pages. David Neff #809174. Published by David Neff (A0.1211565). "Weepin' Mary" is a traditional spiritual for the Easter season. It is not, however, jubilant and flashy. Rather it is soulful and dwells on the comfort that the risen Christ can bring to those who mourn. This is an expansion and elaboration of H. T. Burleigh's 1917 arrangement, with a new second verse with fresh melodic alterations and a new piano accompaniment and piano interlude. The added length (total running time just under 3-1/2 minutes) makes it more usable in church and in recitals. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of popular titles and original compositions from a variety of voices and backgrounds. The length, difficulty, and retail pricing are determined solely by the discretion of the person who arranged or composed it.
