This meditative, 4-page arrangement of the classic Christmas song "White Christmas" by Irving Berlin takes into account the unique needs of a very small lever harp that lacks the stability of instruments which rest on the floor. Lever adjustments are kept to an absolute minimum and allow the harpist enough time to stabilize the small harp while doing so without disrupting the flow of the song. The arrangement is specifically for 26-string (or larger) harps, like Rees Harpsicle (provided that your model has levers and you can play in 2 flats with a few C# accidentals), but it should also work on Dusty Strings harps, Hope Harps, Harp-E, or other small, portable harps. It is straight-forward enough to fit naturally under the fingers and promote fluent sight-reading (because who has time during the holidays to practice?), but complex enough to inspire rich artistic expression and transfix your listeners. The first section mimics the strumming of a guitar beneath a higher melody line, and the second, played an octave lower, sounds more like a simple, nostalgic piano arrangement of the song.
