It is smaller in size and is also tuned quite differently. Indio Figueredo was one of the central figures in the development of this Instrument and he has left a tremendous wealth of creativity in both his compositions and also the traditional melodies that he arranged and performed. This musical treasure is a source and reference for other Venezuelan composers who have been inspired by it in their classical compositions and have also incorporated the harp into their concert works.
