Guitar - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924516 By Joe Cocker. By Billy Preston and Bruce Fisher. Arranged by John Rodney Ferguson. Pop,Rock. Guitar Tab. 9 pages. John Ferguson #3577921. Published by John Ferguson (A0.924516). Guitar tablature and vocals for Joe Cocker’s acoustic version of ’You Are So Beautiful’ from his album ‘Organic’ released in October of 1996. This was Cocker’s second version of the song as he had previously released a version with piano accompaniment in January 1975. Billy Preston wrote "You Are So Beautiful" with one of his regular collaborators, Bruce Fischer. The song was first released in 1974 on Preston’s album ‘The Kids and Me.’ Some commentators say that Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys also contributed to the song's genesis. Wilson performed the song live with the Beach Boys from the late 1970s onwards.
