This work, in the typically radiant, lyrical style of the Japanese composer, is especially suitable for all kinds ofanniversaries and ceremonies. The first movement can be performed separately to open a concert, while the second movement serves as an encore.Centenary Celebration is geschreven ter gelegenheid van het honderdjarig bestaan van de Hiroshima Junior & Senior High School in Japan.
