Cello,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1258657 Composed by P. F. Strohm. 21st Century,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary,Contest,Festival. Score and part. 16 pages. Pete Strohm Music #851920. Published by Pete Strohm Music (A0.1258657). "Impromptu No. 3 for Violoncello and Piano" is the third in a set of one-movement works from American composer P. F. Strohm. The first five of these impromptus are intended for skilled players, requiring great tone, technique and musicality from both performers. They are outstanding works for contest, concert or recital, either individually or as a set. The third impromptu engages both instruments in a relentless, mechanical, prestissimo rondo. Musically there is always only one direction allowed, that is foward. There is a moment near the mid-point reminiscent of a brief pause to look up and confirm the path, but then it is back to the machine-like prestissimo all the way to completion. Difficulty level is medium-advanced. Performance time is 4:25. Member, ASCAP. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
