The song was also released on the album of the same name later that year. "Let Me Stay Young" took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1964, where it finished in third place. Despite the fact that the song did not win, it became the big hit after the competition. It became the breakthrough for 17-year-old Wenche Myhre and is still one of her many signature songs today.
