The Rambunctious Rondo for solo violin begins with a spritely main theme which sends the Rondo off with a bang.  The B and C sections are in contrast to the main theme in that they are both very smooth, stately and sustained.  The third section adds a contrast being in a minor key and again requires a lovely sustained sound and vibrato.  This piece would be considered at a Grade Five Toronto Conservatory level.  A wonderful concert piece.
